I'm an Electrical and Computer Engineering student at the University of Toronto, with primary interest in Computer Architecture and AI/ML technologies. I'm currently at Tenstorrent, working on our AI Compilers for our custom AI accelerators, optimizing how models map onto our hardware for performance and efficiency in training and inference. I also enjoy writing down my thoughts (check out the blog), playing basketball, reading loads of wikipedia, cooking (and eating), art, nature and Toronto.
I was born in India, but I moved to Japan when I was three and grew up there, spending my whole childhood in Tokyo. I spent most of my teenage years in Portland, OR, but finished high school in Vancouver, BC. I moved to Toronto for university and I've been here ever since.
I've always been very into computers from a young age. At around 11, my dad, a computer engineer himself, first introduced me to coding and the very basics of computer hardware. We made rocks think with some electrical signals and I can't say humanity will top this achievement, something that has always fascinated me as a child. Ever since then, I've been on a journey to understand it better and be a part of this technological revolution. I'm very excited to see what else we'll do next as a society, and I hope to be a part of it.
